The Wood Phantom of Set 1, Inquisitor Koog is better off dead than alive.  When I played with Koog I always said that whenever my opponent killed him was the moment the game was won for me.  As per usual, any Phantom is better than no Phantom, however, Koogs strength truly lies in his death.  His mana production is the second best of all the phantoms and his 3 pronged attack lets you choose an enemy anywhere but behind him.  Strategically, he is better dealt with quickly.  Just kill him and move on.  Let your opponent have his mana and get rid of him because otherwise he’ll end up hurting you in the long run.

The Parmetic inquisitor who beheaded Edin and countless other 'heretics'. Even in death he continues the hunt for unbelievers.

Inquisitor Koog adds 1 to his Attack if the target creature is a Wood creature. If Inquisitor Koog is destroyed, you gain additional mana equal to the number of enemies.
