| While appearing to serve little, to no purpose, Tentacles of Possession can change the tide of a game in your favor. After taking possession of a creature one of the most underused features is the ability to control the creature. Taking possession of your opponents creatures and then turning them against them is one of the most satisfying things in the game. Unfortunately, the Tentacles of Possession will attract Beguiling Fogs and Bewitching Elven Archeresses almost as quickly as the big hitters in the game. Possession, while fun to play with, is overrated, though as it doesn’t kill your opponents creatures and almost leaves you in as much of a casting bind as your opponent casting in only the fields where possession isn’t in effect. If you play a possession deck, you’ll most definitely need these, otherwise, stay away. |
