This is another one of those instances where I find the card is more valuable played off it’s field than on it in most instances. Dios attacks twice for 3 damage each time when played off his field. However, Dios’ secondary attack is quite possibly just as deadly in the right circumstances. Played on his own field, Dios attacks with a magic attack equal to the number of fire fields (which could potential be up to 3 damage) to the target creature and all adjacent to it. This one attack could weaken your opponents so drastically that the entire game could swing into your direction. The only true drawback to Dios is his ridiculously high activation cost. While all nobles have a summoning cost of 6, his high activation cost, might leave him sitting on the board

The fourth King of Dhees, Dios became a murderous tyrant after losing his son in the Birth of Fire Rite.

King Dios attacks the same target twice. The counterattack of the target creature occurs after second attack. While King Dios is on a Fire field, he must use his Magic Attack, which affects the target and all enemies adjacent to it. The attack value is equal to the number of fire fields.
